The daily band lineups have been revealed for the 11th annual Rock On The Range, America’s premier rock festival, May 19, 20 and 21 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH. Tickets for Rock On The Range sold out in record time, just over one month after going on sale, marking the fifth consecutive advance sellout for the festival.

Rock legends Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn will each headline one night of America’s largest and most-acclaimed rock festival, while the ROTR Rolling Rock Comedy Tent will feature sets from nationally known comedians plus Columbus’s top comedy talent.  Milan, Italy based Metal / Hardcore band Mellowtoy have released their “Chain Reaction” music video featuring Cristian Machado of Ill Nino. The track comes from the band’s new album entitled “Lies” which is available now through Scarlet Records. “Chain Reaction” is the second music video from “Lies” with their “Visions” music video being released earlier this year.

The music video for “Chain Reaction” was shot in a grand 14th Century residence in Mantova (near Milan), on one very cold night. We are pretty stoked about the result and how Cristian looks as a ghost moving inside and outside the location. Thanks to Matteo Di Gioia and “The Jack Stupid” staff, we found the perfect way to put Mr. Machado on video, all hand-drawn! It looks absolutely insane.Matt Massa, Mellowtoy

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, founded in memory of the voice of Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio, is planning a weekend of activities in Los Angeles to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the singer’s untimely death from gastric cancer on May 16, 2010. The weekend will include a public Memorial Service, as well as a Celebrity Bowling tournament and the inaugural “RIDE FOR RONNIE” motorcycle ride and BBQ, according to Dio Cancer Fund Co-Founder/President, Wendy Dio.

A FREE public Memorial Service will take place at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills on Saturday, May 16 to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Ronnie’s passing. Several former band members and friends who worked with Ronnie over his illustrious career are expected to speak and perform his music. As seating for this event is limited, if you are interested in attending, please send an email, along with your name, phone number and the number of seats to: info@diocancerfund.org

The weekend will kick off on Friday, May 15 with a Celebrity Rock ‘n Bowl tournament at PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City.  It will be a fun evening of bowling, entertainment and a silent auction, which will include bowling pins autographed by Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, YES, Anthrax, Metallica and many others.

All events lead up to the inaugural “RIDE FOR RONNIE” motorcycle ride and BBQ on Sunday, May 17. Riders will depart from Harley-Davidson of Glendale and ride to Los Encinos Park in Encino, where they will be treated to food, live music, raffle/silent auction and more. Fans who don’t ride are welcome to attend just the BBQ!

A privately funded 501C3 charity organization dedicated to cancer prevention, research and education, the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund has already raised close to $1 million in its short history. Monies raised have been committed to the cancer research work of the T. J. Martell Foundation for Cancer, AIDS and Leukemia Research, the gastric cancer research unit of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where Ronnie was treated for gastric cancer during the last six months of his life, and other cancer research projects.

This special EXODUS performance will be highlighted by Hammett joining the band on-stage for a few songs.

On May 20th, 2013, the speakers at the Roxy got turned up to “11” when Damage Inc took the stage to seek and destroy the eardrums of “The World’s Greatest Tribute Band’s” live audience for AXSTV!  The Roxy was at its capacity for Damage Inc  and I was glad I was sitting pretty in the VIP section with great company, including professional drummer Thomas Lang and his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, president of Muso Entertainment.
