SEETHER UNVEIL “NOTHING LEFT”

unnamed-11

BAND TO EMBARK ON WORLD TOUR THIS SPRING

SEETHER (Shaun Morgan, vocals/guitar; Dale Stewart, bass/vocals; John Humphrey, drums) have shared a new track called “Nothing Left” from their upcoming album Poison the Parish, due out May 12 through Morgan’s new Canine Riot Records via Concord Music Group.

Poison the Parish was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and marks the first album produced in its entirety by frontman Morgan. Among the heaviest and most emotionally pure efforts of Seether’s illustrious career, the new album embodies the band’s newfound ferocity and resolve.

“In a time when it’s easy to tune out all the monotonous rock, Seether’s Poison the Parish proves the South African outfit still grooves, crushes and rocks harder than all,” affirms Revolver. Alternative Press was similarly impressed stating, “Poison the Parish is a return to the darker and heavier style of music that Seether built their name upon.”

Seether is preparing to embark on the first leg of the Poison the Parish World Tour, which includes headline shows and festival appearances throughout the spring and summer. Every ticket purchase comes with a physical copy of Poison the Parish. Additionally, a portion of all tickets sold for the Poison the Parish World Tour will benefit the Rise Above Fund, which is a subset of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, the largest suicide prevention organization in the country, and the band’s partner on the Rise Above Fest.

Now in its fifth year, the Rise Above Fest has expanded to two days in 2017 — Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23 at Darling’s Waterfront Park in Bangor, Maine. Performers include Seether, Korn, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Skillet, Halestorm, Falling in Reverse, and more.

Return of the Dreads with photo Gallery

Korn-Irvine

On a perfect Sunday for a rock show, Korn and Rob Zombie rolled into Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on the “Return of the Dreads” tour. This years tour is the follow-up to 2013’s widely successful “Night of the Dreads” tour. The special guest this time around was In This Moment. The packed crowd was lined up the whole length of the parking lot 30 minutes before the gates even opened. In This Moment took the stage at dusk and ripped thru a solid set of 6 songs, complete with costume changes between each song. Lead singer Maria Brink is definitely the focal point of the show. She was flanked by 2 twisted nurses that shadowed her every move. They had props {giant syringes) and minor set changes that added to the well organized opening act.
Rob Zombie and his band, Ginger Fish (drums) Piggy D.(bass) and John 5 (guitar) were next to hit the stage. The crowd was electric as Zombie and his ghouls opened with “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown”. The stage was lined with Zombies crazy cartoon artwork and large screens showing classic horror movie clips. They played 15 songs including covers of “Wild Thing” and “We’re an American Band”. The encore was “Dragula”. At one point during the song “More Human Than Human” Rob Zombie jumped down into the pit and made his way across the front row of orchestra seats before returning to the stage. The best set I’ve seen from them in years.
Korn came out with a solid wall of  L.E.D. lighting and a large screen behind the drummers platform. “Right Now” was the opener and “Freak on a Leash”  closed the show. Korn played all their classic songs and of course singer Jonathan Davis came out and did “Shoot’s and Ladders” with his bagpipe’s. Towards the end of the set, Korn brought out their kids to jump around during the songs “Got the Life” and “Falling Away from Me”. The vibe of the whole show was exciting and very upbeat. All in all it was a very good show and I hope they do this tour again in another 3 years……

Produced by Zeuss and recorded at Goathouse studios, this new record is a full return to form by Zombie. The album features John 5 (Guitar), Piggy D (Bass) and Ginger Fish (Drums) with provocative art provided by Alex Horley. To celebrate the release of the album, Zombie has made a direct-to-fan presale available on FuckinginaUFO.com where fans can pre-order the new record and collectible merchandise, as well as purchase exclusive tickets and VIP Meet & Greet bundles for the new tour and a chance to be in The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser movie. Zombie has achieved great solo artist success with several multi-platinum and gold albums. Zombie has sold more than fifteen million albums worldwide, and is the only artist to experience unprecedented success in both music and film as the writer/director of six feature films.
Korn built an immortal bond in 1993 the first time Jonathan Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, and Brian “Head” Welch decided to make music as a unit. They shed blood, sweat, and tears in the studio and on stage, fashioning an undeniable and unique sound that would permanently alter the course of rock music. After six seminal releases, two Grammy Awards, countless sold out shows, and selling 35 million albums worldwide, Head left the group in 2004 to face the demons of addiction. Korn soldiered on, adding drummer Ray Luzier in 2007 and releasing four more full-length releases. In 2012, a triumphant and tear-filled reunion happened on stage as the group headlined the Carolina Rebellion Festival with Head reprising his legendary part on “Blind”. The initial bond came back into focus, and it was time for their next studio album, The Paradigm Shift, which seamlessly melds the group’s ever-present spirit of innovation with their signature metallic catharsis, paving the way for the future yet again. In 2014, Korn started their 20th anniversary celebrations, playing their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in its entirety. The shows were so well received, the group continued the festivities into 2015, performing the record on tour to fans around the world. At present, Korn is back in the studio hard at work on their twelfth album set for release in 2016.
