IN THIS MOMENT ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR PLANS

NEW ALBUM RITUAL OUT JULY 21

BAND CURRENTLY TOURING WITH MOTIONLESS IN WHITE

In This Moment will remain incredibly busy upon releasing their new album Ritual, out July 21. The band is currently in the middle of a headline tour in support of the album and will stay on the road through the rest of 2017.

In This Moment are pleased to announce that they will continue their wildly successfully “Half God, Half Devil” headline tour this fall, which will also see them making appearances at major fall festivals. Joining In This Moment on this leg will be Of Mice & Men, who will serve as direct support. Avatar will open the shows.

The tour kicks of on September 22 in Salt Lake City and runs through November. Fans can also plan to catch “can’t miss” sets at festivals: Rock Allegiance (Philadelphia), Louder Than Life (Louisville), Open Air (Houston), and Aftershock (Sacramento).

The anticipation for Ritual continues to burn at a fevered pitch, with fans packing each show on the current tour. First single “Oh Lord” has been met with praise. It steadily climbed the radio charts and has just cracked the Top 10; watch the video here. The band also shared the new track “Roots” leading into release; listen to the song here.

In This Moment also dropped their sonically arresting and dramatic reimagining of Phil Collins’ beloved ’80s classic “In the Air Tonight,” which lives on Ritual and has been incorporated into the band’s live set. In This Moment have truly made the song their own, thanks to a captivating rendition that both preserves and updates all the tension and release of the original. Listen here.

Ritual will be released by Atlantic Records in partnership with Roadrunner Records and is available for pre-order now. Exclusive pre-order bundles, which include custom In This Moment branded rosary beads, are available now at the band’s webstore.

Ritual sees In This Moment pushing their inimitably dark sound forward with a provocative sense of pervading doom and metallic blues power. Additional highlights include “Black Wedding,” a walk down the aisle of musical madness that sees lead singer Maria Brink sharing the mic with legendary Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford.

Return of the Dreads with photo Gallery

Korn-Irvine

On a perfect Sunday for a rock show, Korn and Rob Zombie rolled into Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on the “Return of the Dreads” tour. This years tour is the follow-up to 2013’s widely successful “Night of the Dreads” tour. The special guest this time around was In This Moment. The packed crowd was lined up the whole length of the parking lot 30 minutes before the gates even opened. In This Moment took the stage at dusk and ripped thru a solid set of 6 songs, complete with costume changes between each song. Lead singer Maria Brink is definitely the focal point of the show. She was flanked by 2 twisted nurses that shadowed her every move. They had props {giant syringes) and minor set changes that added to the well organized opening act.
Rob Zombie and his band, Ginger Fish (drums) Piggy D.(bass) and John 5 (guitar) were next to hit the stage. The crowd was electric as Zombie and his ghouls opened with “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown”. The stage was lined with Zombies crazy cartoon artwork and large screens showing classic horror movie clips. They played 15 songs including covers of “Wild Thing” and “We’re an American Band”. The encore was “Dragula”. At one point during the song “More Human Than Human” Rob Zombie jumped down into the pit and made his way across the front row of orchestra seats before returning to the stage. The best set I’ve seen from them in years.
Korn came out with a solid wall of  L.E.D. lighting and a large screen behind the drummers platform. “Right Now” was the opener and “Freak on a Leash”  closed the show. Korn played all their classic songs and of course singer Jonathan Davis came out and did “Shoot’s and Ladders” with his bagpipe’s. Towards the end of the set, Korn brought out their kids to jump around during the songs “Got the Life” and “Falling Away from Me”. The vibe of the whole show was exciting and very upbeat. All in all it was a very good show and I hope they do this tour again in another 3 years……

From Ashes to New Interview

RNR_FromAshesToNew 2

RNR_FromAshesToNew

What is it like touring with In This Moment, Papa Roach and FFDP?

Chris – It has been great, the crowds have been awesome, real responsive. The bands have been real hospitable and everyone has been real friendly with us, so it has been a blast.

Tim – Everyone has been super great to us and treating us like we are one of their own. We are honored to be on the bill and to be treated the way they are treating us is absolutely amazing.

What can fans and new listeners expect next from FATN?

Chris – We have a few things in the works, but can’t talk about a bunch of it right now, but we do have a full length album coming out called “Day One” which will be out sometime around February.

Tim – Our song “Through It All” just hit radio stations a few days ago so check your local stations for “Through It All”. Sirius Octane has been playing us very regularly, and they have been very good to us so you can find us on there. “Day One” early next year is when our release date is for our full length album.

What is the name of the full CD that you are releasing and what does the title mean to the band?

Chris – For me it is like our start, our beginning. Visually just see an apocalyptic world, like the day one of starting over, so starting fresh.

Tim – The name From Ashes To New came from all of our previous bands that we were in individually kind of falling to the wayside or burning to ashes and this new band is the new, so From Ashes To New. This is our first full length album so it’s kind of the post-apocalyptic ashes burning simile turning into the beginning of what we hope is a long new beginning for us.

What bands would you say FATN pulls from for influence to your style / sound?

Chris – For influences we use life for at least lyrical content, for me personally with my style, I would say Glassjaw, Alexisonfire, Sevendust, and 36 Crazyfists for some of my influences growing up.

Tim – The influences for me was Joey Jordinson from Slipknot made me want to start playing and I become obsessed with The Rev from Avenge Sevenfold. I actually have a replica tattoo of his on my shoulder. You know the staples like Vinnie Paul from Pantera, Travis Barker from Blink 182, but the list is too long to go on, but those are the big staples and influences personally.

So as a band how do you collaborate on creating new music without stepping on each other’s toes?

Chris – It usually starts out with Matt and Brandon they come and lay down either electronic or guitar riff or something and then start building off of that. I am kind of there to just say what I like and don’t like and alright that works for someone to bounce ideas off of and then I come in and help Matt with the lyrical content.

Tim – It is kind of like this thing that is cut out for us so there really is not someone arguing over their spot in what they do in the band. We already know what are role is and how we do it, so there is very little toe stepping when it comes to the writing process.

With two EP’s under your belt how has the band evolved for the new album?

Chris – We didn’t try to stray too far from the first EP, but I think we all grew as musicians and songwriters so I hope that shows through on the new album.

Tim – The new EP “Downfall” actually the four songs that are on it will be on the new album “Day One” so that is like a taste of what’s to come for the record. There is definitely something you probably wouldn’t expect from us on the record on a couple different songs so it will be interesting for new and old fans.

What do you guys like to do for fun while on the road?

Chris – Make a lot of Planet Fitness stops and do a lot of working out. Other than that we are on social media working talking to all the fans.

Tim – Planet Fitness is just convenient, but anytime we can hit a gym that is my idea of fun. If I can get a chance to cook I am usually pretty happy to cook.

What do you like to cook?

Tim – I always make breakfast for some reason; I am always enjoying bacon and eggs, bagels, but I like to make homemade pasta sauce and pasta.

If you had a choice to pick someone to tour with next who would you want that be?

Chris – I would probably have to say Of Mice and Men.

Tim – Probably Avenged Sevenfold, I mean how could you say no to that?

From the Downfall or Day One CD, what is your favorite song off the album?

Chris – My favorite song would have to be “Through It All”, it’s a song that really hits home for me right now with what’s going on in my personal life that is the song that I feel the most on stage.

Anything that you would like to add?

Chris – We couldn’t do it without the fans, they have helped us so much over the years, through the life of FATN (From Ashes To New) to help us get requested on Sirius Octane and local radio stations now.

Tim – Just want to say thank you and their support has been absolutely unreal and if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t be where we are and where we are is a pretty awesome place to be. We just hope we can keep growing through their help and we get a bigger family as this goes along.

IN THIS MOMENT set to release
Rise of the Blood Legion – Greatest Hits (Chapter 1) May 5, 2015

In this moment
In This Moment have had an almost fairytale ascent to fame – on the surface. The years of hard work, setbacks, heartache and blood aren’t immediately obvious to the casual observer, but then the “Blood Legion” are not your typical fans. They understand and relate to this ethos of a strong work ethic and family above all because they ARE the band’s family.

Maria Brink had this to say: “Rise of the Blood Legion – Greatest Hits (Chapter 1) is a tribute dedicated to everyone who has risen with us through the blood, the sweat, the thick and the thin. We are honored to have such a beautiful connection with our Blood Legion family, It’s amazing that Century Media Records is releasing this compilation so everyone can hear our personal favorites over the last ten years. We love you all and the journey has just begun, Stay the course with us “We are immortal , We rise from the wraith, We are eternal, You are my blood legion My faith.”

“This is for you”

Chris Howorth from the band had this to say: “This compilation is for the “Blood Legion” our die hard fans, We wouldn’t be doing any of this without our fans, this album is for them. The songs were hand picked by Maria and myself and we feel they show the growth of our band over the last 10 years, I hope everyone enjoys this. Thanks again for joining us on this incredible journey!”

Ten years, five full-length albums and over 700,000 units moved in the U.S. alone since their auspicious beginnings, and they are on top of the world and the charts. The intensity and vulnerability of frontwoman Maria Brink’s emotional vocals complimented by the catchy and powerful hooks give the Blood Legion, one of the most loyal and vocal fan bases in modern hard rock, their soundtrack. This Greatest Hits collection of the band’s most iconic songs and videos is hand-chosen by the band, specifically for them. This is In This Moment’s love letter to their fans, and Century Media’s thank you to both the band and fans for this incredible chapter of their history.
