RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA unveil new music!

unnamed-25

Wyoming-based Metalcore outfit RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA have unveiled a new music video for their song “Weight Of The World”. The video debuted yesterday on Alternative Press and is for the current single off the band’s new album, Cursed, which dropped back in March on Century Media. Speaking about the concept behind both the song and the video, the members of RV comment:

“‘Weight Of The World’ is an anthem that we feel a lot of people can relate to. No matter what your situation is, everyone has times where they do their best to keep it all together, but everything seems like it’s crashing around them. We wanted to portray that tension visually, and Orie and the Enlighten Creative team really helped us achieve that. We all meshed and had the same goal to create the vibe that would allow the listener to feel that much more connected with the song.”

Fans can also see RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA performing at Riff Fest in Clarkston, Michigan on September 29th alongside Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm, Pop Evil, Fozzy and many others!

About Righteous Vendetta:
The two years Righteous Vendetta spent crafting Cursed was time well spent. “We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to write ‘hits’ at one point,” the band’s frontman confesses. “If you get too much into that mentality, you can start to lose yourself. So as we made Cursed, we focused on what we were when we started: a metal band. And we wrote a metal album.”

Cursed is the soundtrack to Righteous Vendetta’s overall mission statement. “We’ve always wanted to have a positive influence on people’s lives, but in a real way,” Hayes explains. “We want to connect with people, find common ground, and develop real relationships that aren’t superficial.

SEETHER UNVEIL “NOTHING LEFT”

unnamed-11

BAND TO EMBARK ON WORLD TOUR THIS SPRING

SEETHER (Shaun Morgan, vocals/guitar; Dale Stewart, bass/vocals; John Humphrey, drums) have shared a new track called “Nothing Left” from their upcoming album Poison the Parish, due out May 12 through Morgan’s new Canine Riot Records via Concord Music Group.

Poison the Parish was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and marks the first album produced in its entirety by frontman Morgan. Among the heaviest and most emotionally pure efforts of Seether’s illustrious career, the new album embodies the band’s newfound ferocity and resolve.

“In a time when it’s easy to tune out all the monotonous rock, Seether’s Poison the Parish proves the South African outfit still grooves, crushes and rocks harder than all,” affirms Revolver. Alternative Press was similarly impressed stating, “Poison the Parish is a return to the darker and heavier style of music that Seether built their name upon.”

Seether is preparing to embark on the first leg of the Poison the Parish World Tour, which includes headline shows and festival appearances throughout the spring and summer. Every ticket purchase comes with a physical copy of Poison the Parish. Additionally, a portion of all tickets sold for the Poison the Parish World Tour will benefit the Rise Above Fund, which is a subset of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, the largest suicide prevention organization in the country, and the band’s partner on the Rise Above Fest.

Halestorm

HALESTORM MAKES “APOCALYPTIC” HISTORY;

NEW SINGLE HITS #1 AT ACTIVE ROCK RADIO,

MARKING FIRST FEMALE-FRONTED BAND EVER

TO SCORE #1 SINGLES FROM CONSECUTIVE ALBUMS;

GRAMMY®-WINNING BAND’S EAGERLY AWAITED THIRD ALBUM

ALSO HERALDED BY NEW SINGLE/VIDEO, “AMEN”;

EPIC HEADLINE TOUR BEGINS APRIL 22ND IN NASHVILLE;

ALBUM PRE-ORDERS AVAILABLE NOW AT ALL DSPS;

“INTO THE WILD LIFE” ARRIVES ON APRIL 14TH

Atlantic recording group Halestorm has made rock history once more as their scintillating new single, “Apocalyptic,” ascends to #1 at Active Rock radio outlets – the first time a female-fronted band has scored chart-topping hits at the format three times and to have #1 songs from two consecutive albums. “INTO THE WILD LIFE” – the GRAMMY® Award-winning hard rock band’s long awaited third studio album and follow-up to 2012’s blockbuster “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” – arrives everywhere on April 14th.

Recorded last year in Nashville with GRAMMY®-nominated producer Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Eric Church) at the helm, “INTO THE WILD LIFE” is available now for pre-order at all DSPs. Exclusive physical bundles are available at the band’s official web store, with extras including pint glasses, a 2xLP yellow vinyl version of the album, and a limited edition autographed poster. For details and availability, please go to store.halestormrocks.com/pre-order.html.

In addition to its chart-topping radio success, the riff-powered “Apocalyptic” is accompanied by an equally electrifying video, drawing close to 1 million individual views thus far at Halestorm’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PXkCAiV0Ww.

Furthermore, a new companion video for “Amen,” the next single from “INTO THE WILD LIFE,” has just debuted at RollingStone.com (www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/watch-halestorm-rebel-against-day-jobs-in-raucous-amen-video-20150302). Directed by DJay Brawner (Ed Sheeran, Panic! At The Disco), the provocative clip can also be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGchlqCjj8A.

“’INTO THE WILD LIFE’ is not a departure,” says Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “It’s an invitation to all things Halestorm. Lyrically and musically, we explored everything that makes us tick. We set a new standard for this record and gave ourselves no choice other than to be unapologetically ourselves in every way. Peel away at the onion that is our third record if you dare and let us drag you deeper into our world.”

Widely acknowledged as one of modern hard rock’s most explosive live acts, Halestorm will celebrate “INTO THE WILD LIFE” with an epic US headline tour, “Carnival of Madness Presents Halestorm Powered by Monster Energy.” The trek is set to get underway April 22nd with a sold-out show at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, and then will travel through mid-June (see attached itinerary). The Pretty Reckless and Starset will support Halestorm through June 3rd; Rival Sons and Royal Thunder will open all remaining dates. For remaining ticket information, VIP packages, and details on joining the Official Halestorm Fan Club, please visit www.halestormrocks.com.

In addition, Halestorm will take the stage at a number of upcoming festivals, including Charlotte, North Carolina’s Carolina Rebellion (May 3rd); Columbus, Ohio’s Rock On The Range (May 17th); Kansas City’s 98.9 The Rock Presents Rockfest 2015 (May 30th), among many others (see itinerary below).

In other news, Halestorm has revealed details of “To HALE and BACK…” a new 272-page hardcover photo book created by the band with photographer Rob Fenn. Fenn – who has traveled with Halestorm since 2012 – captures the band at their most intimate, vulnerable and triumphant moments, whether it is backstage, in the studio, an arena stage or on the long lonesome highway. The first 100 orders of “To HALE and BACK…” will receive a limited edition Polaroid autographed by the band. For more, please see robfenn.com/product/tohaleandback.

Released in 2012, “THE STRANGE CASE OF…” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart while also making a top 15 entry onto the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200. The album’s exceptional success was fueled in large part by the singles, “I Miss The Misery,” “Love Bites (So Do I)” and “Freak Like Me,” the latter two which made history by ascending to #1 at Active Rock radio outlets nationwide, marking Halestorm as the first-ever female-fronted group to top the format’s airplay ranking.   As if that weren’t enough, “Love Bites (So Do I)” went on to earn the band their first-ever GRAMMY® for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” at 2013’s 55th annual event.

APMAS TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON AXS TV

The wait is over! Rock music’s newest and most popular awards show, the Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards, fueled by Monster Energy Drink, is pleased to announce this year’s headliners, award categories and nominees, as well as voting information, ticketing, broadcast details, sponsor partnerships and more. The APMAs take place on July 22 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, hosted by hilarious heartthrobs Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat of Billboard-chart topping, five-time AP cover stars All Time Low.

Fifteen awards will be presented, including the brand new Journeys  “Best Music Video” category, as well as the honorary “Vanguard” and “Icon” awards.  Last year’s recipients included Smashing Pumpkins founder Billy Corgan and Joan Jett.

Rock legends and four-time AP cover stars Weezer — whose 2014 album Everything Will Be Alright In The End is nominated for the prestigious “Album Of The Year” award — will serve as the evening’s headlining performance. “We’re incredibly excited to play for all of our fans at the APMAs this year!” said Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo.

Additional live performances include Panic! At The Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Motionless In White, All Time Low, a special performance from New Found Glory featuring Hayley Williams, Echosmith, Halestorm and the Madden Brothers. The world-renowned Contemporary Youth Orchestra will also be returning to the APMAs to accompany many of the evening’s performances and event proceedings.

After a much publicized battle with health issues, Deryck Whibley and Sum 41 will be making their triumphant return to the stage with a much-anticipated comeback performance. Sum 41 frontman Whibley commented,  “Playing live is the heart and soul for us. It’s our chance to connect face to face with our fans, and I’m glad that we get to share our first experience back onstage again at the APMAs. It’s also exciting to be a part of the event to support the first magazine to put our ugly mugs on the cover in America!”

Fellow pop-punk superstars Simple Plan will also be making their much anticipated return to the stage after a three-year hiatus from the American stage. Simple Plan’s lead singer Pierre Bouvier captured the excitement best by saying, “We’re super excited to be part of the APMAs this year.  It’s like the ultimate party with all the bands we care about and the scene that we’re proud to be a part of.  We’re also stoked to finally be playing some new material in the U.S. for our fans that have been waiting for so long. It’s gonna be a hell of a night!”

Last year’s “Most Dedicated Fans” award recipients Black Veil Brides will return to perform a special set. Lead singer and Ohio native Andy Biersack commented “We are so excited to be a part of the 2015 APMAS! Last year, AP granted me not only the opportunity to perform with my heroes, but also to give back to the fans who have given us everything with the Most Dedicated Fan award! We are stoked to perform and would be honored to win. But most importantly, we can’t wait to see everyone there!”

The two bands join previously announced headliner, GRAMMY® Award-winning and multi-platinum band, Linkin Park on the bill for the Friday, June 26, Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 festival at Jam Ranch in Grand Junction, CO. Zombie will take a break from producing his next feature film 31 to bring his raw live show, which will feature an arsenal of incendiary, infectious classics like “Dragula,” as well as the Top 10 Active Rock single “Dead City Radio and The New Gods of Super Town” off his most recent solo album release, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor. Arena-filling megastars, Weezer–Rivers Cuomo (vocals/guitar), Patrick Wilson (drums), Brian Bell (guitar), and Scott Shriner (bass)–will perform tracks from their recently released ninth studio album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, and a collection of hits from their 20-year catalog to the festival.

In addition, A Day To Remember, the Ocala, Florida band who’ve grown into a worldwide phenomenon since their formation in 2003 will join GRAMMY®-winning band Halestorm, who will be releasing their massively anticipated new album INTO THE WILD LIFE on April 7, and multi-platinum Oklahoma City, hard rockers Hinder, on the festival bill.

Says Lzzy Hale, lead vocalist and guitarist of Halestorm, “The boys and I are so stoked to be coming to Colorado for Loudwire Music Festival! This is one of the events we are looking forward to the most this summer! Prepare yourself for some crazy new tunes and your faces to be melted into your shoes!”
