FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY ANNOUNCE HEADLINING TOUR

unnamed-12

FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have announced The Great Collapse North American tour in continued support of their new LP of the same name. Support will come from TOMBS and MOON TOOTH. Dates kick off in early June and stretch through the first week in July. Tickets will go on sale Friday 4/21.

“We’re happy to announce The Great Collapse North American tour,” says vocalist Joe Badolato. “Tombs and Moon Tooth are sick live bands, and make for a fun mixed bill. A little different than our normal touring partners, but we’re excited to play for some new fans. Lots of new songs on this one, and a few old ones we haven’t pulled out in years.”

Fit For An Autopsy released The Great Collapse on March 17, 2017 via Entertainment One (eOne) / Good Fight Music in North America and SPV overseas. Initial sales of the album landed the band on a variety of Billboard charts, some of which the first time in the band’s career. The Great Collapse debuted at #6 Hard Music, #9 Indie, #16 Rock and #47 Current Top 200.

Artist Adam Burke was tapped to create the visually stunning cover art seen below.

The Great Collapse is the the band’s fourth full length record, continuing the momentum gained from a solid 200+ days of worldwide touring backing the buzz-worthy release of Absolute Hope Absolute Hell in late 2015, as well The Depression Sessions, a split release with The Acacia Strain and Thy Art Is Murder in 2016.
The crushing music of Fit For An Autopsy is for any fan of extreme metal, as it’s devoid of preachy politics or grandstanding soapboxing, but its sound and fury is absolutely unflinching in purpose. The band expertly blends excessive-force fueled death metal with atmospheric groove and impassioned personal diatribes, reflecting back the dark state of current events. Their fourth album, The Great Collapse, doesn’t waste time with fantasy bullshit or cliché gore horror. Fit For An Autopsy are metal guys, to be certain, but they grew up in the hardcore scene. They embrace the responsibility to put as much devoted purpose into their lyrics and message as they do into their dense, heady, songs, forging a magnificently powerful new post-deathcore.

“When I write a song, I’m trying to feel emotionally connected to it. I really don’t like saying things that don’t matter over music that I want to matter,” says Putney, guitarist, principal songwriter and cofounder. “We’ve always addressed serious topics going back to our first album. We aren’t a politically charged band up on a podium yelling at people – anybody can relate to the aggression, anger, frustration, and sadness often communicated in our music. But we absolutely raise important questions in the lyrics. Those themes are there to discover.”

Putney’s fellow guitarist/cofounder, Patrick Sheridan, strongly agrees. He emphasizes that while the music of Fit For An Autopsy may evolve it will always be aggressive and will always have purpose. “We think it’s important to carry that torch. Somebody’s got to say something about the shit that’s going on. If you’re not using your music, which is a great platform, for something meaningful that you care about on some level, then you’re kind of wasting it.”

unnamed-13

The six-men of the New Jersey based group – which includes vocalist Joe Badolato, bassist Peter Spinazola, third guitarist Tim Howley, and drummer Josean Orta – put maximum intentionality into everything they do. They are constantly challenging themselves as musicians, adding to the band’s overall creative arsenal, connecting with audiences around the world, and supporting one another in the band as individual people.

SEETHER UNVEIL “NOTHING LEFT”

unnamed-11

BAND TO EMBARK ON WORLD TOUR THIS SPRING

SEETHER (Shaun Morgan, vocals/guitar; Dale Stewart, bass/vocals; John Humphrey, drums) have shared a new track called “Nothing Left” from their upcoming album Poison the Parish, due out May 12 through Morgan’s new Canine Riot Records via Concord Music Group.

Poison the Parish was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and marks the first album produced in its entirety by frontman Morgan. Among the heaviest and most emotionally pure efforts of Seether’s illustrious career, the new album embodies the band’s newfound ferocity and resolve.

“In a time when it’s easy to tune out all the monotonous rock, Seether’s Poison the Parish proves the South African outfit still grooves, crushes and rocks harder than all,” affirms Revolver. Alternative Press was similarly impressed stating, “Poison the Parish is a return to the darker and heavier style of music that Seether built their name upon.”

Seether is preparing to embark on the first leg of the Poison the Parish World Tour, which includes headline shows and festival appearances throughout the spring and summer. Every ticket purchase comes with a physical copy of Poison the Parish. Additionally, a portion of all tickets sold for the Poison the Parish World Tour will benefit the Rise Above Fund, which is a subset of Suicide Awareness Voices of Education, the largest suicide prevention organization in the country, and the band’s partner on the Rise Above Fest.

Now in its fifth year, the Rise Above Fest has expanded to two days in 2017 — Saturday, July 22, and Sunday, July 23 at Darling’s Waterfront Park in Bangor, Maine. Performers include Seether, Korn, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Skillet, Halestorm, Falling in Reverse, and more.

ADRENALINE MOB – New Album ‘We The People’ Out June 2nd

unnamed-7

With their upcoming third studio album We The People slated for a June 2ndrelease, New York based hard rockers ADRENALINE MOB are revving up for an explosive year.

unnamed-8

As the title We the People indicates, there’s a political side to Adrenaline Mob. Throughout their years as musicians and songwriters, they hadn’t stayed silent on matters significant. Whether they were masked in metaphor or flatly conspicuous, they’ve always poured their feelings into song. It was, as Orlando puts it, a form of catharsis. So, as they were watching the presidential campaigns, feeling the negativity—the constant bickering and finger pointing—they knew Adrenaline Mob’s next venture would be impacted. In fact, the first song Orlando began writing for We the People was the politically-charged rocker ‘Blind Leading the Blind’. “The title track is very much inspired by the past election year,” confirms Allen. “It touches on our society, here in America. The album title is a reflection of our times. The songs have certain particular stories that stand on their own. Many of them are also driven by the climate we live in today & some are about having a good time, being free & loving rock n roll. All the tracks have a personality and character to them.”

“Cursed is a shamelessly polished, evilly catchy record. And with anthemic choruses the name of the game, it’s easy to imagine these songs being belted out in the largest possible venues, with legions of teens rabidly screaming every word back at vocalist Ryan Hayes.”
– Outburn Magazine

“Righteous Vendetta has returned after three years away with a new arsenal of songs that run the gamut from vicious to valiant and inspiring. Old fans will definitely notice the tendency towards the heavy, but hopefully be content with the balance of harmonies and well-layered melodies enough to enjoy the record as a whole.”

FALLING IN REVERSE DROP VIDEO FOR TITLE TRACK FROM COMING HOMENEW ALBUM OUT APRIL 7 ON EPITAPH RECORDS

Falling in Reverse have dropped the celestial video for “Coming Home,” the title track from their upcoming fourth album, due out April 7, 2017 on Epitaph Records. Watch the video for “Coming Home” here.

“This video is an analogy of the dichotomies between my personal life and my public life — a lonely traveler content on fulfilling the dreams he set out on, but missing out on everything he has at home. A bittersweet duality,” said frontman Ronnie Radke.

The band also released the tracks “Loser” and “Broken” ahead of the album’s release.

Coming Home is the follow up to 2015’s Just Like You and the album finds the band exploring its sound, all the while retaining the signature ethos and aesthetic that has won the love and loyalty of its incredibly invested fans and followers.

Outburn described Coming Home as “sonically gripping from start to finish and impressive every step of the way, with neither Radke nor the band losing their edge” in its 10 out of 10 review. Alternative Press raved in its four-star review that “the album maintains a brilliant balance between uplifting and confessional, playful and serious. It’s the most real, honest, and self-aware record FIR have released to date.”

LACUNA COIL Release New Video for “Blood, Tears, Dust”

LACUNA COIL Release New Video for “Blood, Tears, Dust”
After returning from a triumphant run throughout South America and right before embarking on some shows with their labelmates Arch Enemy and The Haunted, LACUNA COIL are releasing a new video for one of their crowd favorites, “Blood, Tears, Dust”. The video was directed and edited by Cosimo Alemà and produced by the production company Borotalco.

Cristina Scabbia (vocals) about the video: “Right now I can’t tell you everything about ‘Blood, Tears, Dust’, as this video is part of something bigger… This is the core of who we are as a band: the sweat, the dirt, the raw energy. It’s our insanity and all of us feeling comfortable with it. I love how by Cosimo Alemà filmed this. The photography, the colors and the hints in the story are perfectly placed and it is the first time we are really ‘acting’. This video is only a part of a much bigger plan… stay tuned.
