RED SUN RISING PREMIERES MUSIC VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “DEATHWISH”

unnamed-65

BAND ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM THREAD OUT MARCH 30TH
U.S. HEADLINE TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

Red Sun Rising return with the music video premiere for their first single, “Deathwish”, off of the band’s forthcoming sophomore release “Thread” out on March 30th (Concord Music/Razor & Tie). Watch the apocalyptic video, directed by Brad Golowin, premiering today with Vevo, here: vevo.ly/OJRNPi. The anthemic single is also available for purchase today on iTunes, Apple Music, and Amazon.
Produced by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI, Porno For Pyros) and mixed by Jay Ruston, Thread continues to expand on Red Sun Rising’s concept of mixing different genres and influences to create a unique sound. Physical pre-order’s for the highly anticipated release are available for purchase today on Merchnow. Digital pre-orders will be available everywhere starting Friday, January 19th.
When asked about the upcoming album, lead singer Mike Protich stated, “This album feels like a rebirth. Although Red Sun Rising played 140 shows on our last tour, it was not until we made this album that I felt we became a band. The growth and evolution of RSR that you will hear in our sound and our songwriting builds on our ‘Thread’ mentality (songs that people can love and sing with us but don’t fit a mold). We aren’t chasing trends and never will.”
Sun Rising made headlines with their debut full-length album Polyester Zeal and earned their own piece of rock radio history with two back-to-back #1 hit singles off of a debut album on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart. This marked the first time in over a decade that a band has achieved back-to-back #1s on the Rock Chart with its first two singles, “The Otherside” and “Emotionless.” Adding to their radio success, the band was nominated in the “Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist” category (Foals, Kaleo, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Strumbellas, Red Sun Rising) for the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. RSR was also named New Artist of the Year at the 2016 Radio Contraband Awards.
The band has announced their U.S. spring headline tour in support of the forthcoming release today. Additionally, Red Sun Rising will be performing at all of the major rock festivals this year. For all upcoming show dates, see below!
Red Sun Rising is Mike Protich (vocals/guitar), Ryan Williams (guitar), Ricky Miller (bass/vocals), Dave McGarry (guitar/vocals)and Pat Gerasia (drums).

36 CRAZYFISTS “WARS TO WALK AWAY FROM” VIDEO — WATCH

36 Crazyfists premiere the video for “Wars to Walk Away From.” The song lives on the band’s latest critically acclaimed release Lanterns.

About the video, singer Brock Lindow said, “We had a blast doing our new video for ‘Wars to Walk Away From’ in the early hours of a nice, brisk fall morning in Virginia with director Justin Reich and his killer crew. We captured the live sense of the band as we ripped through a song about the journey of leaving what’s behind you as far as you can
and envisioning what’s in front of you with Northern eyes…”

MITCH ARNOLD OF WAYLAND SAYS “YOU MATTER”

unnamed-59

Mitch Arnold, lead vocalist, of the band Wayland recently sat down to film this compelling promo on his trials and tribulations to bring awareness to depression and suicide with The You Rock Foundation.
Mitch talks about how he deals with these thoughts with ‘exercise and meditation’.
It can be viewed here: https://goo.gl/MHJYqs.
You Rock Foundation has affected and saved many lives with the help of filmed testimonials with other notable artists including Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Jim Root (Slipknot), Randy Blythe (Lamb of God), Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), Aaron Norstrom (Gemini Syndrome) and many more which can be viewed at the foundation’s website or YouTube page.

ALICE COOPER PREMIERES OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE!

unnamed-58

ALICE COOPER PREMIERES OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “THE SOUND OF A,” ANNOUNCES PHYSICAL RELEASE FOR FEBRUARY 23, 2018, AND RECEIVES SSE SCOTTISH MUSIC AWARD.

Today sees the official video premiere for Alice Cooper’s “The Sound of A.”

The song has a special meaning; it is, in fact, the first song that Alice Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967.
The song was forgotten until Dennis Dunaway, the bass player of the original Alice Cooper Band, rediscovered it and played it to Alice, suggesting he consider it for his new album.
What a discovery — with its psychedelic sound, swirling guitars, and the mysterious Hammond organ, it is one of the most hypnotic songs on Paranormal.
Watch the video here.
“The Sound of A” is going to be released on February 23, 2018, only a few days after Alice Cooper’s birthday. In addition to the title track, the single —available as limited edition CD single, 10″ white vinyl— includes four previously unreleased live songs recorded in Columbus, Ohio, on May 6.
Earlier this December, Alice was awarded with the Best International Artist prize at the 19th Annual SSE Scottish Music Awards. The event is held in Glasgow every year and raises funds for the Nordoff Robbins Scotland music charity — only this year, over £148,000 were collected for the music therapy activities.
In July 2017, Cooper released Paranormal, his first studio album in six years. Produced by Bob Ezrin, it was immediately saluted as a classic album, thanks to collaborations with iconic guests such as ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, U2’s Larry Mullen, Jr., and Deep Purple’s Roger Glover.
The album charted at #4 in the German and Australian official album charts, #6 in the UK and in Sweden and overall, it reached the highest chart positions for Cooper in several decades.
Cooper just finished a hugely successful world-wide tour, with over 100 shows played in all five continents. Alice even found the pleasure to reunite with the original Alice Cooper band: Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce during various shows in USA and UK. The Alice Cooper band split in 1974, after releasing some of the most iconic rock albums of all time. After the band’s split, Alice went on to continued success as a solo artist.

TRACK LISTING (CD):
1. The Sound of A
2. The Black Widow (Live)*
3. Public Animal #9 (Live)*
4. Is It My Body (Live)*
5. Cold Ethyl (Live)*

“The Sound of A” is taken from the studio album Paranormal.
All other songs* are previously unreleased and recorded live in Columbus, OH, May 6, 2016.

TRACK LIST 10″ VINYL:
SIDE A:
1. The Sound of A
2. The Black Widow (Live)
SIDE B

OF MICE & MEN ANNOUNCE DEFY
NEW ALBUM OUT VIA RISE RECORDS ON JANUARY 19, 2018
BAND UNLEASHES VIDEO FOR NEW SONG “WARZONE” TODAY — WATCH IT HERE

After months of anticipation from fans worldwide, 21st century hard rock leaders Of Mice & Men —vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley, guitarist Alan Ashby, drummer Valentino Arteaga, and guitarist Phil Manansala—announce their new album Defy, arriving in stores and online January 19, 2018.
Kicking off this next chapter with a bang, the band is sharing its new single “Warzone” today.
Watch the arresting and unforgettable music video here. The clip lives up to the song’s explosive combination of metallic insurgency and irresistible hooks.
“We’re excited to be debuting the music video for ‘Warzone’ today, a song from our new album, Defy,” said Pauley. “For us, this new album encapsulates and showcases our desire to return to an aggressive, live-oriented sound, and ‘Warzone’ is one of the heaviest tracks on the album. Because we love releasing new music as often as we can, it only seemed fitting to release it right before our massive EU/UK tour with In Flames and Five Finger Death Punch this Fall/Winter. So turn it up, and bang your head.”
Most importantly, “Warzone” lays the foundation for one of 2018’s most anxiously awaited rock records.
“Defy” was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Skillet, The All-American Rejects) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Rise Against).

Of Mice & Men’s 2018 tour plans will be announced shortly.
