OF MICE & MEN ANNOUNCE DEFY
NEW ALBUM OUT VIA RISE RECORDS ON JANUARY 19, 2018
BAND UNLEASHES VIDEO FOR NEW SONG “WARZONE” TODAY — WATCH IT HERE

After months of anticipation from fans worldwide, 21st century hard rock leaders Of Mice & Men —vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley, guitarist Alan Ashby, drummer Valentino Arteaga, and guitarist Phil Manansala—announce their new album Defy, arriving in stores and online January 19, 2018.
Kicking off this next chapter with a bang, the band is sharing its new single “Warzone” today.
Watch the arresting and unforgettable music video here. The clip lives up to the song’s explosive combination of metallic insurgency and irresistible hooks.
“We’re excited to be debuting the music video for ‘Warzone’ today, a song from our new album, Defy,” said Pauley. “For us, this new album encapsulates and showcases our desire to return to an aggressive, live-oriented sound, and ‘Warzone’ is one of the heaviest tracks on the album. Because we love releasing new music as often as we can, it only seemed fitting to release it right before our massive EU/UK tour with In Flames and Five Finger Death Punch this Fall/Winter. So turn it up, and bang your head.”
Most importantly, “Warzone” lays the foundation for one of 2018’s most anxiously awaited rock records.
“Defy” was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Skillet, The All-American Rejects) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, Rise Against).

Of Mice & Men’s 2018 tour plans will be announced shortly.

ARCH ENEMY’ Debut New Music Video for Single, “The Race”, Taken From “Will To Power”

unnamed-48

Having just completed a successful run of dates across Eastern Europe on the “Will To Power International Tour”, extreme metal giants ARCH ENEMY are back with another ripping single from their recently released album, “Will To Power”, with the music video single for “The Race”.

Founding member Michael Amott commented: “This was actually the last song written for the ‘Will To Power’ album. Listening through all the material we had up to that point we agreed that the album needed one more song that would be a relentless and fast paced counterpoint to some of the more epic compositions we already had. We sent Alissa the music and she came up with a thought provoking set of lyrics with an intense vocal arrangement that complemented the music perfectly. We’ve been having a blast playing this song on the current tour and we had our video director Patric Ullaeus come out to capture the mayhem at our recent show in Helsinki, Finland… Enjoy ‘The Race’!”

Watch “The Race” streaming below or here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GXIqR7P5ZQ

ARCH ENEMY will bring their “utterly enchanting melodies and savage riffs” (Metal Injection), to audiences across North America later this month as they join Trivium for a co-headlining tour from October 27 to December 6 featuring support from While She Sleeps and Fit For An Autopsy. The band will continue to spread their power in early 2018 as they have announced a Winter tour with Wintersun, Tribulation and Jinjer across Western Europe. Full dates can be found listed below. “Evil Dead II”.’ ‘Dawn of the Dead.’ ‘The Godfather: Part 2.’ ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ All sequels that are better than the original. Add ‘KillThrax II’ to that list. Back by popular demand, KillThrax is coming at ya again my friends.” — Scott Ian, Anthrax

What do you do when you’ve co-headlined one of the hottest metal touring packages of 2017? Well, like any rock band that cares about its fans, you do it again, but you take it to the places that missed out the first time. And that’s exactly what metalcore masterminds Killswitch Engage and legendary thrash/metal masters Anthrax are announcing today — “KillThrax II,” a 29-city tour of North America presented by SiriusXM that kicks off January 25 in Montreal, Canada and will zig-zag across the continent to wind up in Portland, ME on March 4.

Havok will serve as the opening act for the entire tour.

Said Anthrax’s Frank Bello, “After playing so many amazing shows last year with our friends Killswitch Engage, I’m psyched for round two of KillThrax, and we’re adding Havok to the heaviness!!” Added Charlie Benante, “The shows were great, the audiences were great, and we all felt great about the whole thing, so why not do it again?”

“We are looking forward to the next leg of the ‘KillThrax’ tour,” said KsE singer Jesse Leach. “We had a blast on the first one and we enjoyed sharing the stage with the humble legends Anthrax! There is such a synergy between the two bands and a certain unity that is infectious, so it was a no brainer to put this package back together and hit the road. It’s an honor and we are excited for these shows, the fans, and the good times! KillThrax is gearing up for round two, so let’s keep the party rolling!”

As with the inaugural KillThrax tour, Killswitch Engage and Anthrax will rotate the show’s closing slot on KillThrax II. Fans can also expect a night of high energy, musical ferocity and sheer intensity, and what one reviewer called “an incredible night of live music with heavy hitters that provided hours of escape into metal bliss.”

About RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA:
The two years Righteous Vendetta spent crafting their new album was time well spent.”We put a lot of pressure on ourselves to write ‘hits’ at one point,” Ryan Hayes (vocals) confesses.”If you get too much into that mentality, you can start to lose yourself. So as we made Cursed, we focused on what we were when we started: a metal band. And we wrote a metal album.”

Cursed is the soundtrack to Righteous Vendetta’s overall mission statement. “We’ve always wanted to have a positive influence on people’s lives, but in a real way,” Hayes explains. “We want to connect with people, find common ground, and develop real relationships that aren’t superficial.”
